Arpita Mukherjee News in Marathi: The teacher scam in West Bengal took a new turn on Wednesday when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seized assets worth Rs 29 crore from Arpita Mukherjee’s house, including cash of Rs 20 crore. The property was seized by the ED in a raid on a house in Belgharai. After the night raid, counting of notes continued till 4 am. After finding such a huge amount, the ED officials called for four note counting machines to verify the amount. These machines were ordered from the headquarters of State Bank of India in Kolkata. After this raid, BJP’s Dilip Ghosh said that although this case is old, seeing the way in which the investigation has been speeded up, no one will be able to escape from this. “CBI and ED investigations against Partha Chatterjee have been going on for a long time. Parth will not talk easily. But Arpita has started giving information and we are hearing all this,” said Ghosh.

1) ED officials raided the house of Arpika Mukherjee in Belgharai based on the information received during interrogation. Two flats in Belgharai were raided on Wednesday night. Money and gold were found in one of these flats.

9) In a Trinamool statement published in Jago Bangla, Kunal Ghosh linked the ED action to National Democratic Alliance (NDA) vice presidential candidate Governor Jagdeep Dhankhad. “When we went to Raj Bhawan to file a complaint against Suvendra Adhikari, Dhankad said I will not spare Partha Chatterjee. Dhankad said that he insulted my wife. At that time we tried to convince them that you are confused about something. But he stood firm on his stand,” said Ghosh.

10) Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday stated that whoever is found guilty in this case should be punished. But she also said that the ‘media triers’ by the media are not appropriate. Mamata also said that investigative agencies should not be used to defame political parties.
