Four Congress MPs have been suspended from the Lok Sabha for the entire session for protesting in the House with placards against inflation. Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had earlier warned against the agitation. He also said that if they want to protest, they should protest outside the hall.
But Congress MPs continued their agitation against inflation. Therefore, suspension action has been taken against 4 Congress MPs. As a result, he will now have to miss the entire session. Names of suspended Congress MPs include Manickam Tagore, Jothimani, Ramya Haridas and TN Pratapan. After the suspension action, all the four MPs went near the statue of Mahatma Gandhi in front of the Parliament House and raised loud slogans.
