Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has started cow urine purchase scheme in the state on the occasion of Lok Parv Hareli. Under the Godhan Nyaya Mission Yojana, Baghel started this scheme at the Chief Minister’s residence. Baghel brought 5 liters of cow urine from his cowshed. Baghel has sold this cow urine to the Chandkhuri self-help group at a rate of Rs 4 per piece. Bhupesh Baghel has become the first seller of our government’s ambitious cow urine procurement scheme by selling cow urine from his cowshed.

Chhattisgarh has become the first state in India to purchase cow urine. Baghel has tweeted a video about this. Today, on the auspicious occasion of Hareli festival, we have started cow urine purchase scheme in the state. Baghel has informed about this by tweeting that I became the first seller by selling 5 liters of cow urine to Chandkhuri’s Nidhi Savings Group and got an income of Rs.

Through this scheme, the government intends to speed up the efforts of organic farming in the state and also to generate additional income to the cow guards through the sale of cow urine. Apart from getting revenue to the government, organic pesticides along with organic fertilizers will also be produced in the state. The government is trying to promote organic farming in the state by purchasing dung and cow urine.

Rs 2 kg dung and Rs 4 liter cow urine

This concept is being implemented during Godhan Nyaya Yojana which is being implemented for two years. This scheme is considered as one of the most ambitious schemes of Chhattisgarh government. Under this scheme, cow dung will be purchased at the rate of Rs 2 per kg and cow urine at the rate of Rs 4 per litre.
