Lucknow police have arrested two more people for allegedly offering namaz without permission at Lulu Mall in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow city. The arrested accused have been identified as Mohammad Irfan and Saud. Earlier, the police had arrested five persons namely Mohammad Adil, Mohammad Rehan, Atif Khan, Mohammad Lokman and Mohammad Noman. A video of the seven arrested people reciting Namaz at Lulu mall went viral. After that, the mall administration filed a complaint against unknown persons.
The Lulu Mall administration had filed a complaint against the unidentified people who were reciting Namaz. The police took cognizance of this complaint and registered a case under Section 153-A (1), 295-A, Section 341, Section 505 of the Indian Penal Code. In this case, the police had previously arrested five persons namely Mohammad Adil, Mohammad Rehan, Atif Khan, Mohammad Lokman and Mohammad Noman. People were detained. So now Mohammad Irfan and Saud have been arrested on two more charges. Lucknow Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Srivastava gave the same information.

What exactly is the case?
According to the information received, Lulu Mall in Lucknow was inaugurated on June 10. A total of Rs 2 thousand crore was spent for the construction of this mall. But two days after the inauguration, a video went viral. In this video, some people were seen reciting Namaz in the mall area. After this video went viral, the mall administration was criticized through social media. It was alleged that most of the Muslims from outside the state were employed in this mall. The mall administration then issued a statement explaining that 80 percent of our mall employees are Hindus.
