Los Angeles: Two people were killed and five others were injured in firing by unknown persons during a ‘car show’ in a park here on Sunday afternoon. The incident took place at Peck Park in San Prado, near Los Angeles, around 3:50 p.m. Police are yet to understand the motive behind this incident. No one has been arrested in this case yet.
Captain Kelly Muniz of the Los Angeles Police Force (LAPD) said in a press conference that the identity of the deceased in this incident has not yet been determined. It was learned over the phone that several people were injured in the shooting at the baseball field (baseball diamond) at Peck Park. The area has been evacuated for evidence and investigation after transporting the injured to the hospital.
It is not yet known how many people fired in this incident. Seven persons including four men and three women were injured in this incident. Two of them died during treatment.
