The High Court has ordered the Congress leaders to immediately delete the relevant tweets. These allegations have been made in the case of a restaurant in Goa. This restaurant is owned by Smriti Irani’s daughter and the Congress leaders have alleged that a liquor store is being run illegally in it. Smriti Irani has filed a claim for damages against this. The court has issued summons to all three Congress leaders.

What is the real issue –

Congress leaders have accused Smriti Irani’s daughter of running an illegal liquor store in Goa under the name Silly Souls Cafe and Bar. However, Smriti Irani has denied these allegations and said that these allegations are baseless and that the girl and herself are being defamed. Congress leaders are demanding that Smriti Irani should be removed from the cabinet immediately.

Smriti Irani notices to Congress leaders

Smriti Irani issued notices to Congress leaders Jairam Ramesh and Pawan Khera on Sunday. He demanded an apology for making baseless and false accusations against his daughter.
