ED big action! Raid on National Herald headquarters after questioning Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has raided the headquarters of the National Herald after interrogating Congress party president Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. ED is conducting raids at many places in Delhi in connection with the National Herald scam.

The fourth floor of National Herald is currently being searched by the ED. The office of the newspaper is on this floor. ED officials entered the National Herald building around 10 am on Tuesday, and are still conducting raids.

According to official sources, the ED has raided 12 places including the office of Congress-owned National Herald newspaper in Delhi in connection with financial misappropriation. Apart from this, ED is likely to conduct raids at some places in Kolkata.

Sonia Gandhi was interrogated by the ED for over three hours last week (July 27) in the National Herald newspaper financial misappropriation case. As Sonia Gandhi was being called for questioning by ED, Congress had protested in many places across the country. Earlier, the ED has also questioned Congress leaders Pawan Bansal and Mallikarjun Kharge along with Rahul Gandhi. ED had called Rahul Gandhi for questioning for five consecutive days in the month of June. Meanwhile, the ED interrogated him for nearly 50 hours.
