Prime Minister Narendra Modi His brother Prahlad Modi has protested against rising inflation in the country. He is the Vice President of All India Fair Price Shop Dealers Federation. They sat in protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on Tuesday for various demands of the organization. At this time, other members of the organization were also present for the protest. They have raised slogans with banners in their hands.

Reacting to the rising inflation in the country, Prahlad Modi said, “A delegation of All India Fair Price Shop Dealers Federation is going to submit a statement to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In which a list of our long pending demands will be given. Due to rising inflation, running of shops is costing more. In such a situation, increasing our margin by only 20 paise per kg is a cruel joke. We request the central government to give us relief and end our financial woes.”

“The national executive of the All India Fair Price Shop Dealers Federation will meet on Wednesday. Prahlad Modi also said that after this meeting, the next direction of the movement will be decided. All India Fair Price Shop Dealers Federation National General Secretary Vishwambhar Basu told PTI news agency that he is also preparing to meet Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Wednesday.

The central government should provide compensation for rice, wheat and sugar. Edible oil and pulses should be distributed through fair price shops. Also, demands have been made from this organization that ‘West Bengal Ration Model’ should be implemented across the country for free foodgrain distribution.
