Canada’s Denis Shapovalov booked his ticket for the Korea Open semi-finals after a 6-2, 6-2 win over Radu Albot in Seoul on Thursday.
Richmond Hill, Ont., scored six aces and smashed four out of 10 chances in the win. Shapovalov also scored 88 percent first served.

Moldova’s Albot had no break point chances and had only one ace in the match.
Shapovalov, 23, defeated Spain’s Jaime Munar 7-5, 6-4 in the second round to reach Thursday’s quarter-finals.
Fourth seed Shapovalov will next face Jenson Brooksby in the tournament on Friday.
